About the Book

Morello is a homeless orphan and aspiring artist who dreams of escaping a life defined by hardship and obscurity. Her circumstances change when she meets Florence, a mysterious and powerful woman who offers her a chance to build a better future.

However, Florence’s offer comes with a chilling agreement. Every year, Morello must help hunt down and kill one of the predatory men operating within the art world. In exchange, she receives the promise of financial security, privilege, and a new life.

Together, the women turn their acts of revenge into carefully planned performances, treating each murder as a disturbing work of art. But Morello’s carefully controlled world begins to fall apart when she meets Jude, a wealthy art student who offers her a glimpse of a different future.

As her feelings for Jude grow, Morello begins questioning her loyalty to Florence and the violent bargain that has shaped her life. Meanwhile, anonymous threats and dangerous secrets make it increasingly difficult to distinguish trust from manipulation.

Morello must decide whether revenge is worth the price and whether she can finally become the creator of her own destiny.
